Dr. Sheelagh Jamieson

Psychologist
Dr. Sheelagh Jamieson is a clinical psychologist with broad-based experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of community and private settings. Originally from Ireland, Sheelagh began her career working with pre-school aged children with emotional and behavioural challenges. Subsequently, she was a Professor and First Year Program Coordinator in the Behavioural Psychology (BPSYC) Degree program at St Lawrence College, Kingston; a Clinical Director of Bayfield Treatment Centres in Prince Edward County; a Collaborative Practice Leader at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in Toronto and, most recently, the Director of Queen’s Psychology Training Clinic.
Over the years, Dr. Jamieson has worked in various private practice settings in Belleville, Kingston, and Oshawa. As of June, 2026, Dr. Jamieson is delighted to be able to increase her availability to provide psychological services for children, adolescents, and adults in the Durham region.
Dr. Jamieson enjoys working with people of all ages and from various cultures and backgrounds. At PCSG, she enjoys conducting psychological assessments and helping people to understand themselves better so that they can get the boost they need to overcome any struggles they face and to navigate life better. Dr. Jamieson also provides psychological treatment for people experiencing a range of life challenges and also provides services for people who have been injured in the workplace and are often experiencing PTSD.
Dr. Jamieson strongly believes that mental health is health.
