Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Skills Groups

The primary goal of DBT Skills is to teach new skillful ways of responding to powerful emotions. DBT is an effective therapy for people who experience these intense emotions or who may react to their emotions in unhelpful ways.

PCSG’s DBT group sessions are held online using Zoom for Healthcare 5.0 which is PIPEDA & PHIPA compliant.  To participate, all you need is an email address (for the Zoom invitation) and a computer/tablet/smart phone with a stable internet  (WiFi) connection. You should also have a quiet, confidential place to meet via video.

Each DBT Skills group features four modules in total that last 5 weeks each.  New members may join at the beginning of any module.  Before joining a group, clients must complete a one hour pre-screening and orientation session. Please see below for module titles and start dates.
