Anet Mor is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University.
She has over 25 years’ experience working as a Registered Dietitian in hospital setting and private practice with special interest in disordered eating. Through the years, while working with disordered eating, Anet has encountered clients with anorexia, bulimia, emotional eating, impulse eating, depression, anxiety, and relational conflict.
This has led her into further training in psychotherapy to target the underlying psychological conditions. Anet has been trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy. She works with clients who have issues with food and behavior, anxiety disorder, depression, and impulse control. Anet has expanded from individual counselling to couples, families and group. Anet has worked with athletes who are training in individual sport such as marathon running, or team sports. Her work deals with issues related to burnouts, confidence, performance problems, perfectionism, and interpersonal problems.
