Kristi Kerford is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists (Registered Psychotherapist, CRPO #9393) and a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
She works primarily with young adults and adults from a range of presenting concerns, including depression, anxiety, grief, interpersonal/ relationship concerns and career and life transitions. Kristi works primarily from an emotion focused approach and has training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, mindfulness, positive psychology, and career counselling.
Kristi has over 20 years of experience coaching and counselling and more recently began practicing psychotherapy. Her coaching and counselling experience focuses primarily on navigating career transitions, either school-to-work or mid-life, exploring and deciding on career options, and supporting personal and professional development. Kristi is certified in assessments such as Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and Strong Interest Inventory (SII). She is positive and action-orientated with a genuine desire to help others in finding fulfillment, defining purpose, and setting and meeting goals.
