Raganya Ponmanadiyil is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, a Master of Education in Developmental Psychology from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto (OISE/UT), and received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour from McMaster University.
Raganya has 7 years of experience providing support to children, adolescents, adults, and families for a wide range of concerns, including ASD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, burnout, and relationship challenges. She has worked as a Registered Behaviour Technician working with children and adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders for over five years, supporting individuals and families with behavioural challenges and skill learning. Drawing from her experiences working with youth experiencing homelessness and at crisis centers, she places a strong emphasis on operating from a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive perspective. Her therapeutic approach is characterized by a blend of various models and trainings in solution-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Above all, Raganya adopts a person-centered, strengths-based methodology to empower her clients on their healing journey.
