Dr. Mary Hum

Psychologist
Dr. Mary Hum is a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
She obtained a Joint Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Recreation & Leisure Studies from the University of Waterloo and completed her Masters and Doctoral degrees in School and Clinical Child Psychology at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto (OISE/UT).
Dr. Hum practises in the areas of clinical, counselling, school, and sport/performance psychology.
She trained and practiced in hospitals, community-based mental health agencies, and public school boards. She worked in outpatient and intensive services with the latter encompassing residential care, day hospital, and day treatment programs.
Dr. Hum provides assessments, diagnoses, treatment, and consultations primarily to individuals from 0- to 21-years-old and their families. She also provides diagnosis and treatment in a wide range of conditions such as anxiety and mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, aggressive and anger problems, trauma, early childhood development problems, insomnia, bereavement, stress management, learning difficulties, giftedness, peer relations and social skills, separation and divorce, and family conflict, using evidence-based practices.
